Colón Cemetery
The Colón Cemetery is Havana’s main cemetery and—with over 500 mausoleums and family vaults, 800,000 graves, and over 1 million interments—one of the largest cemeteries in the world. In addition to being the last resting place of prominent figures of Cuban art and history, the cemetery exhibits beautiful monuments made of Carrara marble and granite.
As a young child, Audrey spent time in Europe, and was influenced by the statues and architecture around her, inspiring her to choose architectural illustration as her profession. Audrey Peaty & Associates has been in business for over 25 years in Tallahassee where Audrey provides Architectural Illustrations for builders and developers of homes and buildings under construction. Working from blueprints and photos Audrey completes beautiful water color and ink paintings for commercial buildings and private home owners.
